@saracreta @UNHCRLibya Sara, you seem to be asking UNHCR resettles everyone in need. But if States don’t offer places, what do you suggest instead? UNHCR trying to explore all available options to get vulnerable refugees out of Libya including return to safe counties that have previously offered asylum

@JFCrisp Refugees in Tripoli can receive cash grants for food and accommodation at our Community Day Centre. The document you refer needs context, in Tripoli violence is intensifying and there are significant security challenges

UNHCR staff were at GDF today explaining upcoming changes. We’ll soon be ramping up support in urban areas. Refugees will be better supported through our Community Day Centre. GDF was only designed to be a transit centre, a temporary place for people awaiting evacuation https://t.co/t8OS2hnThN

@AmandineBach This was given to provide context to how few resettlement places there worldwide compared to the needs. In reality, resettlement places are also often further tied by States to specific situations. Whether globally or for specific situations, there are not enough for all in need

117 refugees, including some from the GDF, landed safely in Kigali following their evacuation flight to the ETM in Rwanda, who continues to show great solidarity with refugees in need. We urged States again to offer more resettlement places https://t.co/hwKiJWVeWL

We're expanding our programme to help refugees in urban areas. At the same time, the GDF will no longer be a transit centre, but refugees will still be able to get medical care https://t.co/zu6Oog9C9B

The plight of Libyans displaced by the conflict is often ignored. We provided much-needed aid to IDPs in Tripoli as part of our winter assistance programme https://t.co/SD0o8lW06A

After 7 people were killed in an airstrike, there was rising concern about intensifying violence, particularly in Tripoli. We called for all parties to the conflict to take every effort to prevent civilian deaths https://t.co/xzyirEpMao
