@BD45737380 We are constantly advocating for more places+for faster processes. But we are limited but what places are made available by States. Doesn’t mean some1 can’t have a place in future or that they don’t need help. Frustrations are understandable, but this is the realities currently

@KitchaFitFit1 Situation is far from ideal. The frustrations are entirely understandable. But the reality of the situation is that there are simply not enough evacuation places for all vulnerable refugees. We have to prioritise those most at risk. Nobody has been told they are forced to leave https://t.co/w1E2flfKYJ

PLEASE SHARE. If the tragedy of the Mediterranean is to stop, people need to know. Drowned mother 'held baby to the last' moment. Migrant or refugee or someone else, this was a person and this is heart-breaking. https://t.co/JjZVmuTqX7

Saving lives MSUT be priority. But remains V concerning that 3months+ after Tajoura airstrike, the rescued still returned to Libya+put in detention. Some in group likely to be refugees who have fled war. Most will have suffered abuses on journeys to Libya https://t.co/Lj10mQRDIf

In September, departures from Libya to Europe where nearly twice as high on days when NGO rescue boats were NOT operating. Weather a bigger influence. Meanwhile, nearly 30 died off Lampedusa. NGO boats are NOT a pull factor but they do SAVE LIVES https://t.co/sPQTvt2xVf

1000+ children crossed the sea from Libya in 2019 Stop for a second. Imagine your child on an inflatable boat, on rough seas for days+potentially having to try to swim for their lives if the boat wrecks No kid should have to take a boat to reach safety https://t.co/DL0NZkw8I9 https://t.co/p9zxEUTDgy

Facebook needs to come clean here. No problem that it works with politicians+supporters on both sides of the aisle. But it is a problem when there is such a lack of transparency over how it uses+sells our data, who it sells it to, +potential impact on our political discourse https://t.co/JLtvZ4gk4n

Tragic news of 2 people found dead washed ashore on France. Efforts needed to address why people feel they’re better off risking their lives on these dangerous journeys https://t.co/C5qYhQsqkI

Great news that the rescued passengers will be promptly disembarked, able to receive humanitarian assistance, and for those who need it, access to refugee protection. Thank you Italy for providing a port ??? https://t.co/hj8Rk0PxAG
