More than 150,000 people have now fled Sudan, where fighting between military leaders continues: both Sudanese citizens and refugees hosted in Sudan have crossed into Egypt, South Sudan, Chad and other countries. Needs are huge. Resources are scarce. Aid is required, urgently!

As efforts are ongoing to step up humanitarian assistance in Sudan, we must also respond to the growing flow of refugees to neighbouring countries. Together with their governments and 134 other partners, UNHCR is asking for $445 million to provide vital assistance for six months.
