Approx 100 vehicles and 50 pedestrians tried to cross from Donetsk thru Novotroitske checkpoint today. In the end, 18 cars and 111 persons managed to cross according to UA authorities. 10 crossed on foot having to walk about 6 km with luggage in their hands (no shuttle bus yet) https://t.co/mnP4eoWhXQ

They also issued decree #197 allowing residents to cross "borders" (incl. Ukraine and "LPR") to obtain Russian passports and citizenship; business trips; get emergency medical services; accompanying cargo; death of relative; other cases considered by Emergency Coordination Center

People will need to leave "DPR" license plates behind, in storage with de facto authorities for a fee of 50 Russian rubles per day. Not a lot but in times days when #COVID19 has brought more unemployment and expenses, not exactly a welcomed move
