To comply with requirement of self-isolation. However, 32 people did not have smartphones. As a result, they weren’t allowed to enter. They are in limbo. Today they have not been able to return to non-government-controlled areas because their names are not on a pre-approved list.

@UNHCRUkraine is monitoring situation of civilians who are stuck at EECP Novotroitske after attempting to enter government-controlled territory following limited opening of EECP. In line with COVID-related measures, they were asked to download “Diy vdoma” app onto their phones.
