Resettlement places are not enough to meet the needs. We prioritise most vulnerable such as orphans, single mothers, sick+disabled etc... Frustrations of those not selected are understandable but we need States to offer more places+faster processes https://t.co/W7McyGpmGp

We can help refugees return to countries where they were previously offered asylum, or if safe+voluntary, help them return home. Have to be realistic there simply won’t be enough resettlement places for all those who need them+priority has to be the get people out of harm‘s way

Severe overcrowding at Gathering+Departure Facility in Tripoli led to unsustainable conditions. We had to reassess role of the centre. Refugees without evacuations out of Libya available to them being offered cash to help with food+shelter in urban areas https://t.co/W7McyGGY4Z
