Once intercepted/rescued at sea, refugees are taken by DCIM to detention.

Subsequently, a first screening & identification of all persons is done on site.

@Caro50886110 @yaxle Dear Caroline, UNHCR provides assistance to both refugees and migrants at disembarkation for example but registration concerns only persons with a valid claim of asylum and therefore under the mandate of UNHCR.
