Très bonne rencontre où nous avons pu évoqué les défis liés aux mouvements migratoires mixtes, la situation des réfugiés dans la région, et la question dramatique des réfugiés en Libye https://t.co/5tqO3TXwrG

Not all these Somali nationals are migrants, many had left their country due to serious security problems. Destitution, hunger, security concerns & lack of alternatives lead them to return. IOM & UNHCR will work on their reintegration in #Somalia https://t.co/YWETwiwFns

#Libya during a registration in Sabaa, I saw more visible signs of malnutrition among detained refugees. They get a meal a day, i.e. pasta or rice. Guards told me there is no more catering contact since July & wanted me to believe that they use their salary to pay the food https://t.co/YYcn3PtwmJ

The transit & departure centre in Tripoli is still empty for more than 4 months awaiting a decision from the competent authorities to authorise the transfer of up to a 1000 refugees & asylum seekers. 4 months of unnecessary suffering for many refugees & asylum seekers. https://t.co/tmBkr5hJ0s

#Libya, yesterday I saw IOM & UNHCR providing joint counselling to Somali nationals in Tripoli, the vast majority wants to return home given the situation in Libya & we assist those wanting to do so to reintegrate in Somalia https://t.co/pVgDa2C6tl
