Chaos at Tripoli Naval Base. Big numbers, no proper installations and most survivors need medical attention after one boat deflated and its occupants fell into the water. UNHCR & IRC at the forefront providing all assistance needed. 2 bodies were recovered. https://t.co/SUgc8GAq9C

@La_SER @openarms_fund Atrocidades que van a continuar si no se trata el problema de raiz. Aqui en Libia, por mucha asistencia que demos, el país no es Seguro para refugiados que ya de por sí vienen escapando de guerras y persecuciones. Falta +solidaridad y + humanidad.

3 shipwrecks in the Med today only, off Al Khums, Surman, & Lampedusa. Over 100 lives lost! Lack of rescue efforts in the Med & a predictable disembarkation system will keep these tragic numbers soar, while desperation keeps pushing refugees & migrants out of 🇱🇾 to the unknown https://t.co/EG257s1XTj

Over 10,000 persons were forcibly returned to Libya this year, only to go through the same hardship they were trying to escape from. Libya is not a safe port! https://t.co/gW1C9eBGHy
