We welcome the announcement of a planned increase, to be formalised in May, in the number of refugees who will be given the chance this year to rebuild their lives in safety in the United States. Refugee resettlement saves lives. https://t.co/pbrnOkXSL7

Today marks the first day of #Ramadan in Jordan and we are spending it with refugees and locals at the @jordanriverfdn kitchen, preparing for the first Iftar (breaking of the fast) tonight. Our thoughts are with those displaced who will be observing this month away from home. https://t.co/OsPRCIu7zi

To continue to protect refugees amid the pandemic, many states adopted remote modalities to process asylum claims and renew documentation. @UNHCRJordan switched to remote registration last year, enabling 280,000+ asylum seekers to update their documentation despite the pandemic. https://t.co/53V6VP59fc

We are here in Jordan at Azraq Camp today, host to 37,000 Syrian refugees. I am so pleased to see #Covid-19 vaccinations for refugees continue as part of Jordan's national health campaign. To date, more than 2,700 refugees in camps have now received their vaccinations. https://t.co/UmPlBV8Hhv
