Compassion creates a new home for a refugee child

Description
Seven year-old Nahal from Afghanistan found a new home in Greece thanks to the compassion and motivation of Iro Iordanidou. From 2016 until today, under METAdrasi’s foster care program, 104 unaccompanied children have been hosted by 89 families. Three of them have been adopted by their foster parents. The program is implemented with the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and co-funded by the European Union.
