2023 UNCHR Emergencies Overview

Description

In 2023 UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency issued 43 emergency declarations in 29 countries.We scaled up aid and deployed 339 emergency staff to respond to new crises and protracted ones.It was a year of unprecedented humanitarian emergencies, but with your help we were able to serve up to 16.7 million people dispatching 7.4 million emergency relief items including blankets, sleeping mats, solar lamps and kitchen sets.
