Since the war in Ukraine began, roughly 8 million refugees have been forced to flee the country, with more than 5 million displaced internally and more than 17 million people inside Ukraine still in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. UNHCR has been working tirelessly to provide aid and support to those affected by the war.
