พอล เป็นอัมพาตตั้งแต่เอวลงมาตั้งแต่เด็ก เขาใช้ชีวิตอยู่บนวีลแชร์มาเกือบทั้งชีวิต รอดชีวิตจากภูเขาไฟระเบิดมาได้เพราะภรรยาและลูกๆ ช่วยกันเข็นวีลแชร์ของเขามา หลายแสนคนต้องพลัดถิ่นจากการปะทุของภูเขาไฟเนียรากองโกทางตะวันออกของคองโก พวกเขาต้องการความช่วยเหลือในทุกๆ ด้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นที่พักพิง สิ่งของบรรเทาทุกข์และปัจจัยสี่ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกลุ่มเปราะบาง เช่นเด็ก ผู้หญิง ผู้สูงอายุและผู้พิการ ขณะที่รัฐบาลอนุญาตให้ประชาชนเดินทางกลับเข้ามาในพื้นที่ แต่ยังต้องการความช่วยเหลืออีกมากเนื่องจากประชาชนส่วนใหญ่สูญเสียทุกอย่างในลาวา ร่วมบริจาคตอนนี้ที่: https://unh.cr/60ef241e9b === Hundreds of thousands of people displaced by the eruption of Mount Nyiragongo in eastern DRC are in need of urgent assistance.
