ผู้ลี้ภัยราว 300 คน ที่พักพิงอยู่ในประเทศไทยมายาวนานหลายสิบปี กำลังจะได้เดินทางกลับบ้าน เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการการเดินทางกลับมาตุภูมิโดยสมัครใจ โดยครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งที่ 4 ของโครงการ ริเริ่มโดยรัฐบาลไทยและรัฐบาลเมียนมาร์ ภายใต้การสนับสนุนและความช่วยเหลือจาก UNHCR และองค์กรพันธมิตร “ผมต้องการใช้ชีวิตที่เหลือที่เมียนมาร์ ผมมีความสุขมากที่จะได้กลับ” คุณตา ดี โนเอ อายุ 92 ปี ผู้ลี้ภัยที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ ขอให้ทุกคนเดินทางกลับบ้านอย่างปลอดภัยและขอเป็นกำลังใจให้ทุกครอบครัวในการเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่ที่บ้านนะคะ === 300 Myanmar refugees, many of whom had lived in temporary shelters in six border areas in Thailand for decades, travelled home this month (July) as part of a joint voluntary returns programme.
