Irked by the magnitude of the internal displacement crises in Nigeria which has led to over 2.2 million internally displaced persons(IDPs) and affected about 5 million people, UNHCR and the National Centre for Women and Development(NCWD),are partnering in many ways to assist the IDPs. One of these is the production of the song "Not Alone" , composed by Nigeria's veteran singer Lady Onyeka Onwenu, who is also the Director General of the NCWD. The song emotionally captures the situation of the IDPs and other people of concern and is also aimed at inspiring both the national and the international community to take further action in favour of the IDPs. The video was collectively shot by UNHCR and the NCWD in Yola IDP camps in the Adamawa state of Nigeria. It prominently features Lady Onyeka and the UNHCR Representative to Nigeria & ECOWAS Mrs. Angele Dikongue- Atangana.
