Description
Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and Refugees have become key targets of human traffickers because of their vulnerability and desperation to achieve better livelihoods. The struggle to get adequate basic needs, especially food and the desire to improve their living standards often pushes them into the hands of persons who pretend to assist them but end up exploiting them. Human Trafficking and Illegal migration continue to grow despite all the effort put in to create awareness. People, including IDPs and refugees, continue to fall victim to traffickers. This fictional Anti-Human Trafficking film depicts the struggle of refugees who flee their countries in search of safety, only to fall into the hands of human traffickers. Its aim is to support positive behaviour change to prevent human trafficking and exploitation.
