Iraq's Refugee Education Integration Policy is making waves in reimagining education. Launched by the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Education, the policy enables the inclusion of refugee children in the public education system. In a visionary step, the policy also allows qualified refugee teachers to teach in public schools, alongside national teachers, and provides them with access to a livelihood opportunity. At the world’s largest gathering in support of refugees, let us advocate to advance the inclusion of refugees in existing public services as well as open more doors to employment for them.
