“Passion to opportunity” When refugees can participate without discrimination in the local market, they contribute as employers, employees and clients. Saif Al-Din's story exemplifies how refugees can use their skills and talents to benefit everyone around them. His fishing shop not only boosts the local economy but serves as a hub for the refugee and host community. At the world's largest gathering in support of refugees, we call for further inclusion of refugees in the local economy to give them a chance to contribute to the economic growth of the countries they live in.
