UNHCR was privileged to celebrate the graduation of 43 #DAFI2023 refugee students while recognizing the contributions of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Government of Iraq in facilitating access to higher education opportunities for refugees and returnees. 🎉🎓 In Iraq, since 2016, 448 refugee students (258 women) have been able to access higher education in 21 universities across the Kurdistan and Federal regions of Iraq helping them become more independent in building their futures. Thank you for contributing to UNCHR’s 15by30 vision to achieve enrolment of 15% of young refugee women and men in higher education by 2030
