UNHCR response to Batken situation in Kyrgyzstan 2022: Adilbek's story (Kyrgyz)

Description
Adilbek and his family lost their home in Southern Kyrgyzstan in September 2022 after violence escalated along the border with Tajikistan. Adilbek’s family became particularly vulnerable in the face of the upcoming winter when houses, schools and key infrastructure in the hometown were damaged or destroyed. Thanks to support from the people of Japan UNHCR provided winterised housing units which allowed displaced persons like Adilbek and his family to stay warm during the winter.
