Telling the Real Story
Description
The Telling the Real Story campaign (TRS) organised three talkshows with Somali refugees and asylum seekers in Cairo to discuss irregular movement and travelling by smuggling (tahriib). The discussions were open and frank and touched on a wide range of issues. The participants, both men and women, were eager to share their experiences and support Somali communities in the efforts to expose the dangers and difficulties of tahriib.
