Many Somali youth are still partaking on this journey despite the Covid-19 outbreak, unaware of how this will affect them. The need to leave the dangerous conditions in Libya persist and the journeys are still as dangerous. “People were drowning as the boat was sinking. People were dragging each other down” says Mohamed.
