Description
NesT (Neustart im Team) is an additional humanitarian admission program for especially vulnerable refugees. Mentoring groups, which provide housing and other forms of support, accompany refugees in the initial state of arrival in Germany, and help them with their new start. The Iftin Abdi family arrived in Germany in 2020. The COVID pandemic has brought many additional challenges to settling in in Witten (North Rhine-Westfalia). With the help of the mentoring group, they are mastering the new start and look to the future with confidence.
