On the November 8, 2013 Super Typhoon Haiyan hit the central Philippines. It was a devastating typhoon with 14 million people affected and 4 million people forcibly displaced. Thanks to your help, UNHCR was able to provide much needed tents and plastic sheeting for shelter, solar lanterns, blankets, jerry cans, and other relief items that we continue to distribute today. So on behalf of the people of the Philippines we want to thank you for all your support.
