New Hope in Germany for Syrian refugees

Description

The blood disorder thalassemia can be very debilitating if not properly treated. Syrian refugee Abdullah was not able to receive the life-saving medical help he needed in Lebanon, as his father could not earn enough money for blood transfusions. When he was resettled in Germany from Lebanon Abdullah was able to get the life-saving medical help he needed.
