Eyad Masoud is a professional swimmer who was forced to flee his home in Syria because of the war. The UNHCR Representative now lives and trains in Auckland in Aotearoa New Zealand. He’s an IOC Refugee Olympic Team scholarship holder and is training to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
