Former Afghan refugee, author and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Khaled Hosseini appeals for humanitarian aid for the victims of the Nepal earthquakes. A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck north-eastern Nepal, striking at a depth of 19 kilometres, 68 kilometres west of Namche Bazaar near the base camp for Everest. This is the second earthquake to hit the country in two weeks. UNHCR staff are on the ground delivering aid to distraught families who already lost everything.
