Sustainability projects are changing the environmental perspective of refugees and migrants in shelters in Roraima. Initiatives such as aquaponics, which combine fish farming and horticulture, have the participation of sheltered youth, girls and boys. The biodigestor project, which uses organic waste to produce natural gas and fertilizers, is coordinated by leaders from the sheltered community.
