UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is marking 70 years of existence. But this is no time to celebrate. We have made a difference to millions of lives – but our work is needed more than ever. #UNHCR70 As there are now more than 80 million forcibly displaced in the world, is UNHCR still fit for purpose? Is the refugee concept fit for purpose? Is the international protection system fit for purpose?
