With the joint efforts of refugee and displaced students, school faculties, the host community and our partners on the ground, 15 schools in Syria were improved with the support of UNHCR’s Community Based Initiative Programme (CBI). The initiatives improved the school’s interior and exterior and provided a child-friendly atmosphere. The initiative also addressed challenges identified by each school’s students and helped them implement the solutions they proposed themselves. Video by O. Kabalan
