Meet a doctor who is determined to give back to community that welcomed him so generously! Dr. Jouma, a 34-year-old South Sudanese refugee, arrived in Syria, 17 years ago looking for safety after he fled his country Sudan. Driven by the shortage of doctors in his country and his deep desire to help people, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Today, Dr. Jouma is working on the frontlines of the #Covid19 response in Damascus, helping fellow refugees as well as Syrians.
