Syria, students take dangerous journeys to sit for exams

High school students around Syria sat for the national exam during the past week, of them, thousands had made long, dangerous journeys coming from hard-to-reach areas like #Raqqa, #Afrin, and #Idlib. “Nothing could stop us from pursuing our dreams, and education is the mean by which our children will build our country,” said the mother of one of the students who accompanied her daughter from Idlib to Hama. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, along with Syrian Arab Red Crescent - الهلال الأحمر العربي السوري, Ministry of Education and UNICEF are providing the students with the necessary support and assistance.
