У місті Глухів Сумської області Тетяна та її родина стикаються з надзвичайно холодною зимою, яка накрила Україну, ще більше ускладнюючи й без того важку ситуацію. За умов обмежених пенсій і необхідності виплачувати кредити, придбання дров для опалення стає серйозним викликом. Щоб допомогти найбільш уразливим родинам, які постраждали від війни та проживають у прифронтових і прикордонних районах, пережити найхолодніші місяці, УВКБ ООН надає зимову грошову допомогу для покриття необхідних витрат на опалення. *** "When I learned about it, I said: if this is true, we are saved,” Tetiana says. “During the day, we heat the house with firewood, and at night, when it’s freezing outside, we use a gas heater to prevent the pipes from freezing.” In Hlukhiv city, Sumy region, Tetiana and her family face the extremely cold winter that has hit Ukraine, making an already difficult situation even harder. With limited pensions and loan payments to cover, buying firewood for heating presents a serious challenge.
