Yana Liubymova, Head of Luhansk IDP Counsil (ENG)

Description

In the last 10 years, Yana Liubymova has been displaced twice – first in 2015 from the city of Kadiivka in the Luhansk region, and in 2022 from Starobilsk. She is now the head of the Council for Internally Displaced People (IDP Council) created in the Luhansk region and serves as a liaison between displaced people and the authorities. UNHCR supports IDP Councils in Ukraine to ensure that displaced people are directly involved in developing policies that address their needs.
