Abbas Ahmedi was born in Iran but fled his country and has been living in Ukraine for the last 28 years. Here, he found a new home, received an education and has a big and loving family. After the full-scale Russian invasion, Abbas started working as a social worker for UNHCR’s partner NGO Rokada helping displaced and war-affected people in Ukraine.
