Protection Wall in Nuristan - Final

Description

A UNHCR-installed flood protection wall in Wama District, Nuristan, is helping to save lives, and property for familIes in the remote eastern province. The 150 metre wall provides safety for more than eight thousand residents living in Panisha village. Villager, 42 year-old Shafiullah, said that before the wall was built, several houses, livestock and crops were destroyed in floods.
