A UNHCR-built community-based water pipe scheme in Panisha village, Wama District, in the remote eastern province of Nuristan is helping villagers to access clean drinking water. 160 households benefit from the project. Previously, people had to travel long distances to collect water and often faced health problems drinking unclean water. #WorldWaterDay
