Description
UNHCR continues to support women in Afghanistan, including returnees and those who are displaced, to learn and build self-reliance through livelihood and economic inclusion programmes. In Kabul, the agency has partnered with #UNODC (UN Office on Drugs and Crime) and the Afghan Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry #AWCCI in building a new Women’s Integrated Services and Facilities Centre, promoting the growth of women-owned businesses through training and counselling. While the centre is not yet formally inaugurated, some of the women UNHCR has supported took part in an event to showcase their work. #EmpowerTogether #16Days
