難民署網頁 UNHCR website: http://www.UNHCR.org.hk/ Aya是一百萬名難民兒童中的其中一位。兩年前，她與家人逃難到黎巴嫩，現居住在一個臨時搭建的細小帳篷中，依靠難民署配給的食物維生。年僅8歲的Aya夢想成為一位兒科醫生，但活在物資極度匱乏的環境中，上學讀書可算是一種奢侈品。當Aya的家人到田裡工作以賺取微薄的薪金時，她就要留在家中幫忙照顧殘障的姐姐。 Aya is just one of the million Syrian refugee children. Along with her family, she fled to Lebanon over two years ago and they now live in a small, makeshift tent and rely on UNHCR food vouchers to survive. Aya is just eight years old and she wants to become a paediatrician but school is an unaffordable luxury. Instead, she spends her days helping to care for her disabled sister while her family works in the fields to try and earn a meagre living.
