聯合國難民署特使安祖蓮娜祖莉在2014年6月20日的世界難民日裏，第四次到泰國探訪。在Ban Mai Nai Soi 難民營，特使慰問從1996年已經來到這的緬甸克倫族家庭。 75歲Baw Meh婆婆的丈夫一直想回到家鄉，但未能圓夢已經於去年離世，一些兒孫已經重新安置到第三個國家，一些卻選擇留在難民營，Baw Meh婆婆選擇留在這裡，因為這裡接近家鄉。 UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie commemorated World Refugee Day on June 20, 2014, with her fourth visit to the refugee camps in northern Thailand. At Ban Mai Nai Soi camp, she met three generations in the family of Baw Meh, a Karenni refugee who fled Myanmar's Kayah state in 1996. Baw Meh, 75, lost her husband last year. He died before he could fulfill his dream of returning home. Some of their children and grandchildren have been resettled to third countries. Others have chosen to stay. Baw Meh has refused to go, preferring to stay close to her village.
