Description
Eskandar fled war-torn Aleppo, Syria. Today, he’s a refugee in Cyprus. Watch his story here. This film has been produced by young refugees residing in Cyprus as part of a UNHCR Cyprus project. The project’s aim is to give young refugees aged between 18-30 years old an opportunity to share their stories and perspectives on their current lives in Cyprus with the wider public. Being a participatory project, the young refugees learned various film-making skills while using the video format to express themselves and tell their stories. The other short videos produced by each of the 7 participants are available on this playlist, along with the longer film of 12 minutes' duration, which merges these seven distinct stories.
