UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's Protection Chief, Gillian Triggs concluded her second visit to Cyprus last week. In fruitful discussions with the authorities and with other stakeholders, the main need she identified is for a national integration strategy: "Integration is for the benefit of everybody in society," she said. Speaking with refugees and asylum-seekers, Triggs learned more about their concerns, challenges and hopes in Cyprus.
