@alhajkasha UNHCR is against detention of refugees and asylum-seekers in Libya, but we are present in detention centres out of a humanitarian imperative to assist ALL Persons under our mandate and save lives. Sudanese nationals with a valid claim of asylum included.

Jana was practically born in displacement. Her family fled #Benghazi in 2014, & lived since with relatives & then renting ?, but savings depleted & they had no option but going back home despite the extreme damage & explosive remnants around.
