?161 refugees & migrants were intercepted/rescued yesterday night in 2 boats and disembarked early today in Al Khoms. A total of 1,287 persons were intercepted/rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard in 15 operations during 2019.

? 96 refugees and migrants disembarked last night at Al Khoms. UNHCR partner IMC was on the ground to provide humantarian & medical assistance. We reiterate that conditions in Libya are not safe for rescued or intercepted refugees & that these people must not be returned there.
