The Catholic Church in Sunyani through NCS has been working with UNHCR and GRB in the area of health and education for Ivorian refugees in Fetentaa. According to the Bishop, they considered this as their christian duty as the bible enjoins them to take care of the homeless.

As cessation came into effect June 30th for Ivorian refugees,most opted for voluntary repatriation & movements are ongoing. Fetentaa Chief said the community has never regretted hosting refugees. He appreciated all that UNHCR has done for them especially infrastructural support.
