Met Scarlet, Christopher and Android, Venezuelan refugees, this afternoon in Tumbes, Peru. I heard how they lost their niece to the poor health care. When their son got terribly sick, and the hospital had no doctors and medicine, they had no option but flee to safety. https://t.co/Q2inyhjQWW

Just landed in Tumbes. Some 2000 Venezuelans are entering daily here into Peru. Families are traveling on foot for up to 40 days to reach safety. They arrive dehydrated, scared and hungry.
