Since 21st December, UNHCR has transferred 2,159 Congolese refugees new arrivals from Nyakabande transit centre to Kyaka II settlement (Kyegegwa district). Another 475 remain at Nyakabande and are pending biometric registration prior to relocation to Kyaka II.

Since 19th December, UNHCR has relocated 4,216 #refugees from Lake Albert landing sites to Kagoma reception centre in Kyangwali settlement, Hoima district. Some 4,068 have been already allocated a plot of land in Malembo C and provided with shelter materials.
