    @SAIBI2001 Thank you for ur comment. Trust that the deplorable situation of refugees & asylum-seekers is constantly raised with all influent parties to put real solutions on the table. In the meantime, we continue to assist on the ground w/ the means we have in spite of total lockdown.

    @MarieLouiseSeeb @BD45737380 They were taken to detention. UNHCR visits regularly refugees in detention to provide them with medical assistance, relief items, and to advocate for their immediate release.

    @BD45737380 We do provide psychosocial assistance, but at the disembarkation point, we usually have very little time before local authorities transport them out of the port. Urgent medical assistance, food, and water distribution is the priority. Then we follow up on each case.
