@philippaUNHCR @Refugees One of the best parts of our work - people able to go home voluntarily and safely and rebuild their lives.

Kids are happiest when they are learning regardless of the environment. Education needs to be top of the list of services for forcibly displaced children. It is investment in the future. https://t.co/vcoAq0K2wc

The numbers don’t lie. As refugee children grow older, the less likely they are to receive an education. Check out our latest report for more: https://t.co/Fz0nYexqjk

One of the most complicated operations that #UNHCR runs in the world today and the stakes are high. So many depend on the ability of our partners and us to deliver. Keep them and the many vulnerable people they serve in focus. Action needed on all fronts. @UNHCRLibya https://t.co/zXGmbF1RXL

Leaving #Libya , humbled & proud of #UNHCR & many partners working in difficult conditions. Taking significant risk to deliver aid to Libyan displaced in conflict areas & evacuating refugees for safe countries. Work that is making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable. https://t.co/RDhgZEsuaA

Detention in #Libya has to stop. Alternatives are possible & #UNHCR & @IOM_Libya are ready to support in making it a reality. Life in detention is not life. https://t.co/7VWyEwRt6m

Just returned from #Libya where nearly 270,000 Libyans are displaced. Many do not have safe shelter & no means to provide for their families. They lack food, water and electricity. Peace and stability urgently needed to alleviate this suffering. https://t.co/cFaxCtXYE7

I spoke to Asma, an inspiring Somali refugee in #Libya. She lived through war in Yemen, Sudan & now Libya. Like many others, she risked her life trying to cross the sea to Europe & was detained. She hopes for a better future. We need more support for resettlement & evacuations. https://t.co/A1Fk9SysfJ
